chilly july

Don't get me wrong...I much prefer the cold to the heat...I love snuggling up under blankets and wearing big chunky sweaters and wooly socks...but JULY!! you gotta be kidding me...

I was knitting these socks in preparation for the fall...but my feet are happy in them now...in July.

  1. Well I think we've had summer! Although things do usually improve again in August, and by September the weather may well be tropical. Love the socks they look sooo cosy!

  3. Those socks are FAB! I am almost tempted to teach myself how to knit...although I suspect that I am so cack handed I'd never managed it.

I could do with a bit of cool weather at the moment, Yorkshire seems to have been rather muggy for the last couple of weeks - swap??

  4. I agree...much better to be chilly than sweltering. We've also had a relatively cool spring and summer up until this past week or so. The socks are wonderful! I wish I could knit like that. I bet you can get gorgeous wools in your neck of the woods!
